The unique sound could assist any potential Jedi to construct their lightsaber towards the one that is right for them. Certain crystals released music, others displayed harmony to help them. Some emit the feeling of coldness or touched in hopes of finding the perfect match.
The core of a lightsaber is the Kyber crystals. They join with Jedi Masters to allow them to change the colors of their blades. Green or blue is the most common colour on both sides dependent on the side you are on. But, other shades could be due to this unique power Luke Skywalker has blessed these old-fashioned devices with.
